Drumstick Poriyal is simple and delicious dish cooked in a spiced tomato gravy.
Spicy Drumstick Curry |
Ingredients :
- Drumstick/ Murungakai - 3
- Onion - 2 ( Finely Chopped)
- Tomato - 1 ( Finely Chopped)
- Green chilly -1
- Salt to Taste
- Water
Spice Powders :
- Red Chilli pwdr - 3tsp
- Coriander pwdr - 2tsp
- Cumin pwdr - 1.5tsp
- Turmeric pwdr - 1/2 tsp
For Tempering :
- Oil -2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Cumin- 1 tsp
- Few curry leaves
Method :
Take the Ingredients |
Take all the Spice Powders |
Heat the Pan with 2 tsp of oil ,temper the mustard , jeera and curry leaves |
Add onion and green chilly |
Fry onion turns golden color |
Add all the spice powders, fry it for 1 min |
Add drumstick fry it for 1 min |
Add Chopped tomatoes |
Mix it well |
Add some water |
Cover it for 15 min |
Drumstick curry is ready , Serve it with Rasam/Sambar |
