Keerai / Spinach Masiyal Recipe

Keerai Masiyal is very healthy , simple and easy recipe to prepare.
Keerai Masiyal

Ingredients :


  1. Keerai/ Spinach - 2 bunches ( use any kind of keerai )
  2. Small onion - 10 - 15 pcs
  3. Tomato - 2 
  4. Green chilly - 2
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Water

For Tempering :


  1. Oil - 2 tsp 
  2. Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  3. Small onions
  4. Garlic - 3
  5. Few curry leaves

Method :
Spinach

Clean and wash the spinach two or three times

Take the kadai with 2 glass of water , add spinach and green chilly

Lets boil for 10min to 15 min

Take onion , tomato and garlic cloves

Once  the leaves are 3/4 Th cooked, Add  the chopped tomatoes, let it simmer for another 5 mins

Add some salt

Smash it well

 Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, garlic and curry leaves

Add onion, Fry till onion turns brown in color

Add the tempered elements to the cooked spinach

Again smash it well

Keerai Masiyal is ready 

Delicious Keerai Masiyal is ready to serve.
