Poori masala is a awesome combination for poori.....
Ingredients:
- Boiled potato - 2 cups
- Peas - 1/2 cup (Optional)
- Onion - 2 or 3 sliced
- Tomato - 2 Chopped
- Smashed ginger,garlic & green chilly
- Channa / Kadala paruppu- 1 / 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds / Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Few curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 3 tsp
- Water as required
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds , urad dal when its splutters, add channa, curry leaves & smashed ginger , garlic & green chilly , fry it for 1 min.
- Add onions fry till its cook, then add tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt stir well.And cover the pan with lid cooks the tomato till its turn mushy.
- Then add 1 cup water , let it boil for 2 to 3 min.
- Then pour boiled potatoes & peas and salt. ( If need add some water) cook for 5 min.
- Serve hot with poori.
