Butter Paneer is one of the most popular in paneer recipe, very simple and easy to make. Just few simple ingredients readily available at home.Lets see with step by step photos..
Ingredients:
- Paneer - 250g
- Capsicum - 1
- Small Onion 10 to 15 or Onion - 1 (Cubed)
- Ginger - garlic paste - 1tsp
- Aamchur/ Dry mango powder -1 tsp
- Butter - 1 tsp
For Roast and Grind :
- Cloves - 2
- Fennel Seeds - 1tsp
- Jeera / Cumin seeds - 1tsp
- Pepper Corns - 4 to 5
- Coriander Seeds - 1 tsp
- Cardamons - 2
For Saute and Grind :
- Onions - 2 chopped
- Big Tomato - 1 chopped
- Kashmir Red Chilly - 3 to 4 ( Optional ) For Red Color
- Oil - 1 tsp
Method:
Take all the Ingredients |
For roasting |
Roast coriander seeds,cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cloves , cardamoms, pepper corns in a heated pan for a min |
Heat oil in pan , add the onions ans saute it |
Once the onions turns brown, add the tomatoes and cook till it turn soft |
Grind the dry roasted seeds , onions and tomatoes |
And make a smooth paste |
Heat Butter |
Put the ginger garlic paste before butter melt |
Saute it for a min |
Add shelled onions and toss them and cook them for 2 min |
Add diced capsicum |
Add the masala paste once the onions have turned translucent |
Cook everything for a min |
Add water to it, stir it and let it boil |
Add the paneer cubes |
Toss them up and mix well everything |
Add salt and 1tsp butter |
Add coriander leaves to it and mix well |
Gravy dish is ready to be served hot with roti / paratha |
