Curd Rice / Thayir Sadam Recipe :

Simple curd rice...


Ingredients:

  1. Curd - 2 cup
  2. Boiled rice - 2 cups
  3. Grated carrot - 3 tsp
  4. Coriander leaves - 3 tsp
  5. Ginger - 1/2 pc finely chopped
  6. Green chilly - 1 finely chopped
  7. Mustard seeds / urad dal - 1 tsp
  8. Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Few curry leaves

Method:

  1. In a bowl , add 2 cups of curd and whisk it well
  2. Heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds once its splutter add urad dal, jeera,ginger, green chilly and curry leaves.
  3. Turn off the flame
  4. In a curd add carrot,coriander leaves and tempered items
  5. Mix it well
  6. Now add the boiled rice to curd and salt. mix it well
  7. Serve with pickle
