Cauliflower Tandoori in microwave oven....Let's see step by step pictures....
Ingredients :
- Cauliflower - 1 cup
- Red bell pepper - 1/2 cup
- Green bell pepper - 1/2 cup
- Onion - 1/2 cup
For marinade :
- Yogurt / curd - 1 cup
- Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
- Kasthuri methi - 1/4 tsp
- Colour powder - pinch
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Skewer or tooth picks
Method :
The Veggies :
- Chop the onion, bell peppers in square shapes
- Chop the cauliflower in medium size
Note :
The marinade :
- In a large bowl, take the curd and whisk it till it becomes smooth.
- Add ginger garlic paste and all the spice powders with some salt.
- Mix the spice powders with the curd.
- Add the veggies to the marinade.
- Marinate for at-least 1 hour in the refrigerator ( NOTE : Not in freezer)
- Remove after 1 hour and bring the marinated veggies at room temperature.
- Skewer the veggies alternatively on skewers or tooth picks.
- Set the microwave in grilled mode or keep in microwave mode
- Place the skewers in grilled rack or in plate.
- In microwave mode it took 10 - 15 mins.
- In microwave mode, it cook in thick golden brown color.
- In grilled mode it took 20 - 25 mins.
- In grilled mode, it cook slightly in black color.
- Once its turns the color, remove from the oven.
- Serve it hot.
