Tawa Idly podi or Milagai podi is made perfect blend of spices using with less ingredients....
Ingredients :
- Red chilly - 8 - 10
- Channa dal - 2 tsp
- Roasted gram - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Hing - 1 pinch
- Rice - 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
- Few curry leaves
Method :
- Heat a pan, dry roast everything in low flame for 4 - 5 mins.
- Finally add the asafoetida, saute it for min and turn off the flame
- Let it cool down completely
- In a blender, grind everything and make a powder.
- Serve with Idly or dosa.
