Onion Uttapam Recipe

Ingredients:
- Idly / Dosa Batter - 1 cup
- Tawa Idly Podi OR Idly Podi- 1 tsp
- Onion - 2 finely chopped
- Ghee / Oil - 1 tsp
Method :
- Chop the onion finely. Heat dosa pan and take a ladle full of dosa batter and spread it thickly in circle shape (Don't spread too much).
- The uttapam should be thick.
- Add the chopped onions and idly podi on the top.
- Drizzle oil or ghee and cook in low medium flame.
- Once the base of uttapam is cooked well and golden, then turn the uttapam.
- Apply some oil to the edges.
- When uttapam cooked both side, remove it from the flame.
- Serve hot with chutney/ podi or sambar.
