Carrot chutney is very easy to make. This chutney has slightly tangy,spicy and sweet perfect blend and goes with idly ,dosa very well...
Carrot Chutney

Ingredients:


  1. Carrot   - 1 cup
  2. Onion   - 10pcs
  3. Tomato - 1
  4. Garlic  - 4pcs
  5. Ginger  - 1 small pcs
  6. Channa dal  - 1 tsp
  7. Tamarind - 1 small pc
  8. Oil  - 1tsp
  9. Mustard seeds  - 1tsp
  10. Few curry leaves
  11. Salt to taste

Method:
Take all the Ingredients


Heat oil in pan, add channa dal .red chilies, garlic and curry leaves saute it for min

Add onion saute till it turns brown color

Add Tomatoes fry well

Add carrot saute it well

Saute the carrot until raw smell goes

Transfer all the ingredients to the mixer and grind along with mixer ginger, tamarind pc, salt and required water

Grind it 

Serve it with hot idly/dosa
