South Indian More Kuzhambu Recipe:

More Kuzhambu is traditionally south Indian recipe.More Kuzhambu is mildly spiced yogurt base south Indian Curry,mostly served with steamed rice as aside.
More Kuzhambu

Ingredients:


  1. White Pumpkin -  1 cup
  2. Onion - 2 Finely chopped
  3. Tomatoes - 2 Finely chopped
  4. Green Chilly -3 Finely chopped
  5. Curd - 2 cups
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  7. Musatrd seeds - 1tsp
  8. Few curry leaves
  9. Few coriander leaves
  10. Salt to Taste
  11. Oil - 2 tsp

For Grinding:


  1. Grated coconut - 1/2 cup

Soak these three Ingredients in water for 20 min

  1. Coriander Seeds - 2 tsp
  2. Toor dal /Thuvaram paruppu - 2 tsp
  3. Jeera / Cumin Seeds - 1tsp





Method :

Take all the Ingredients

Grind the Grinding Ingredients with some water

Like this

Heat oil in a kadai, mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion and tomatoes, saute it for few min

Add the white pumkin

Saute it for a min

Add 1 glass of water and turmeric powder

Cover with the lid and boil for 5 min

Add the grinded paste and salt mix it well

Add 1 glass of water and  boil for 5 min

Finally add the curd / yogurt mixture mix it well

Let it come with gentle boil and turn off the flame

More kuzhambu is ready to serve

Serve with Plain white rice
