More Kuzhambu is traditionally south Indian recipe.More Kuzhambu is mildly spiced yogurt base south Indian Curry,mostly served with steamed rice as aside.
Soak these three Ingredients in water for 20 min

Ingredients:
- White Pumpkin - 1 cup
- Onion - 2 Finely chopped
- Tomatoes - 2 Finely chopped
- Green Chilly -3 Finely chopped
- Curd - 2 cups
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Musatrd seeds - 1tsp
- Few curry leaves
- Few coriander leaves
- Salt to Taste
- Oil - 2 tsp
For Grinding:
- Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Soak these three Ingredients in water for 20 min
- Coriander Seeds - 2 tsp
- Toor dal /Thuvaram paruppu - 2 tsp
- Jeera / Cumin Seeds - 1tsp
Method :
Take all the Ingredients |
Grind the Grinding Ingredients with some water |
Like this |
Heat oil in a kadai, mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion and tomatoes, saute it for few min |
Add the white pumkin |
Saute it for a min |
Add 1 glass of water and turmeric powder |
Cover with the lid and boil for 5 min |
Add the grinded paste and salt mix it well |
Add 1 glass of water and boil for 5 min |
Finally add the curd / yogurt mixture mix it well |
Let it come with gentle boil and turn off the flame |
More kuzhambu is ready to serve |
Serve with Plain white rice |
