Ingredients :
- Ponnanganni Keerai - 2 bunches
- Tamarind - 1 lemon size
- Salt to taste
To Temper :
Method :
- Clean and wash the spinach at-least 2 times.
- Heat 2 glass of water in kadai,add the keerai in it..
- Cover with a lid and cook for 10 - 15 mins till 80% of water absorb.
- Now remove from the heat and let them cool down.
- In a blender, filter the water and add the spinach, tamarind salt and grind it.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds once its splutter add the urad dal and red chilies, saute it for a min.
- Then add the chopped onions, fry till turns golden.
- Turn off the flame and put the tempered items to the spinach and mix it well.
- Healthy and tasty Keerai masiyal is ready to serve.
