Keerai Masiyal is very healthy , simple and easy recipe to prepare.
Keerai Masiyal |
Ingredients :
- Keerai/ Spinach - 2 bunches ( use any kind of keerai )
- Small onion - 10 - 15 pcs
- Tomato - 2
- Green chilly - 2
- Salt to taste
- Water
For Tempering :
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
- Small onions
- Garlic - 3
- Few curry leaves
Method :
Spinach |
Clean and wash the spinach two or three times |
Take the kadai with 2 glass of water , add spinach and green chilly |
Lets boil for 10min to 15 min |
Take onion , tomato and garlic cloves |
Once the leaves are 3/4 Th cooked, Add the chopped tomatoes, let it simmer for another 5 mins |
Add some salt |
Smash it well |
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, garlic and curry leaves |
Add onion, Fry till onion turns brown in color |
Add the tempered elements to the cooked spinach |
Again smash it well |
Keerai Masiyal is ready |
Delicious Keerai Masiyal is ready to serve. |
