Raw Garlic spicy chutney / Kara Poondu chutney Recipe :

Spicy and tasty garlic chutney......



Prep Time : 5 mins
Raw Garlic spicy chutney
Cooking Time : 5 mins
Cuisine : South Indian

Ingredients :

  1. Red chilly - 8 - 10
  2. Garlic - 5 - 7 cloves
  3. Tamarind paste - 1/2 tsp 
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Gingelly oil - 1 tbsp

Method :

  1. Soak red chilly in hot water for 15 mins and set aside.
  2. In a blender, put soaked red chilly, garlic cloves, tamarind paste and salt.Grind it.
  3. Now open the jar, add water little by little and proceed grinding.
  4. Grind it to a fine paste.
  5. Heat gingelly oil in a pan, pour it to the chutney.
  6. Serve with idly or dosa.
