Ingredients :
- Tomato - 2
- Onion - 1
- Red chilly - 5 - 7
- Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 5 - 6
- Salt to taste
To Temper :
Method :
- In a blender, add chopped tomatoes, onions, red chilly, curry leaves, tamarind paste, salt as required and add little water to grind.
- Grind into a semi paste.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds , once its splutter add urad dal and curry leaves.
- Then add the grinded tomato paste and mix it well.
- Cover and cook for 5 to 7 mins.
- Serve with idly or dosa.
