Spicy and tangy green chilly chutney.....

Green Chilly Chutney Recipe
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Ingredients :
- Green chilly - 10 - 15 (Adjust spice level according to your taste )
- Garlic cloves - 4 - 5
- Shallots - 10 - 12
- Tomato - 1 medium size
- Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 2 tsp
Method :
- Heat oil in a pan, add the green chilies saute until color change and remove it from the flame.
- Then saute the garlic saute till light brown color and remove it from the flame.
- Add the shallots saute till translucent color and remove it from the flame.
- Finally saute the tomatoes till turns mushy and remove it from the flame.
- Don't saute all the ingredients together, saute everything separately.
- Let cool down completely.
- In a blender, transfer all the mixture add tamarind and salt.
- Grind it in a coarse paste. this chutney should be in coarse consistency, don't grind it into a smooth taste.
- Serve the chutney with idly/ dosa
