Mutton / Lamp curry :

Simple Mutton Curry....


Ingredients :


  1. Mutton                                             - 1/2 kg
  2. Onion paste                                       - 1 cup (2 Big onions,make it paste)
  3. Tomato paste                                     - 1 cup  (3 Tomatoes,make it paste)
  4. Ginger garlic paste                             - 2tsp
  5. Chili paste                                         - 2tsp
  6. Cumin / Jeera Pwdr                            - 2tsp
  7. Pepper pwdr                                      - 3tsp
  8. Turmeric pwdr                                   - 1/2 tsp
  9. Cinnamon stick                                  - 1
  10. Cloves                                               - 3
  11. Bay leaf                                             - 2
  12. Kalpasi/ Black stone flower                  - 1
  13. Green Cardamom Pods                         -2 
  14. Oil                                                      - 3tsp
  15. Few Coriander leaves
  16. Few curry leaves
  17. Salt to taste

Method :
Take all the Ingredients

Wash and the mutton into small pieces and  cook the Mutton for 10 - 15 whistles with 1/2tsp turmeric pwdr

Heat oil in a pan ,add cloves, bay leaves, cardamon, cinnamon saute it for 1min

Add few Curry leaves

Mix the onoin paste
Saute it for 3 min

Add tomato paste and ginger garlic paste , saute it and cover the pan for 3 min

Fry them till oil separates 

Add cumin and pepper powder

Mix well

Add the boiled mutton pieces 

Mix it well

Add 1 cup of  water and salt 

Cover it for 10 - 15 min

Open the lid saute them well, let the gravy cook it for another 5 to 7 mins in low flame

Turn off switch and garnish with coriander leaves

Ready to serve
