South Indian cuisine is never complete unless it is accompanied a flavorful chutney. Onion have a strong flavor and nice aroma.Very simple to make and fast.
Ingredients :
- Onion - 2
- Coconut - 8 to 10 pc
- Red chilly - 7 to 8
- Jaggery - small piece
- Tamarind pulp - 1tsp
- Salt to taste
For Tempering :
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1tsp
- Few curry leaves
Method :
Take all the Ingredients |
For Tempering |
In a blender, mix all the ingredients and add some water |
Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds when its splutters add curry leaves |
Mix it |
Raw onoin chutney is ready |
Serve it with idly or dosa |
