Ingredients:
- Parangikai / Yellow Pumpkin - 1 cup
- Onion - 1 finely chopped
- Channa dal - 1tsp
- Green chilly - 2 finely Chopped
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds / urad dal - 1/2 tsp
- Shredded coconut - 2 tsp (optional)
- Jaggery / Vellam - Small pic (optional)
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Few curry leaves
- Few coriander leaves

Take all the Ingredients |

Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard, add urad dal, channa dal saute it for a sec |

Add the onions and green chilies saute it for a min |

Add chopped pumpkin and turmeric powder |

Add enough water and salt , cover with lid for 10 to 15 min |

And cook till soft |

Turn off the flame, add the shredded coconut and stir well |
