Cauliflower Tikka / Tawa Cauliflower Tikka recipe :

Cauliflower tikka with step by step pictures.....Tikka snack which can be easily made in home..

Ingredients : 

  1. Cauliflower - 1 cup
  2. Red bell pepper - 1/2 cup
  3. Green bell pepper - 1/2 cup
  4. Onion - 1/2 cup  

For marinade :

  1. Yogurt / curd - 1 cup
  2. Cumin powder - 1 tbsp
  3. Garam masala powder -  1 tbsp
  4. Kasthuri methi - 1/4 tsp
  5. Colour powder - pinch
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste 
  8. Skewer or tooth picks 

Method :

The Veggies :

  • Chop the onion, bell peppers in square shapes
  • Chop the cauliflower in medium size

Note :

  • Soak the skewer in water for  at-least 1 hour

The Marinade :

  1. In a large bowl, take the curd and whisk it till it becomes smooth.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and all the spice powders with some salt.
  3. Mix the spice powders with the curd.
  4. Add the veggies to the marinade.
  5. Marinate for at-least 1 hour in the refrigerator ( NOTE : Not in freezer)
  6. Remove after 1 hour and bring the marinated veggies at room temperature.
  7. Skewer the veggies alternatively on skewers or tooth picks.
  8. Heat the tawa with 3 tbsp oil, arrange the cauliflower skewers on the tawa .
  9. Cook the tikka in medium flame.
  10. Rotate the tikka every one min.
  11. It took 5 to 10 mins for cooking
  12. Once its turns the color, remove from the flame.
  13. Serve it hot.

1. Take thick curd in a bowl and smooth-en the curd

2. Add ginger garlic paste and all the spice powders with some salt.



3. Mix the spice powders with the curd.

4. Add the veggies to the marinade.

5.Marinate for at-least 1 hour in the refrigerator

6. Skewer the veggies alternatively on skewers or tooth picks

8. Heat the tawa with 3 tbsp oil

9.arrange the cauliflower skewers on the tawa .

10.Cook the tikka in medium flame.

11.Rotate the tikka every one min.

12.It took 5 to 10 mins for cooking

13.Once its turns the color, remove from the flame.


14.Serve it hot.
