Homemade Garam Masala Powder
Cooking Time : 5 - 10 mins
Ingredients :
- Coriander seeds - 3 tbsp
- Cumin / Jeera seeds - 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds / Sombu - 2 tbsp
- Pepper corns - 1 tsp
- Cloves - 1/2 tsp
- Star anise - 2
- Cardamom / Ellakai - 5 - 6
- Cinnamon / Pattai - 1 medium stick
Method :
- Take all your ingredients.
- Dry roast all the ingredients till golden brown or till nice aroma comes.
- Let cool down completely.
- Make sure you cool down completely after roasting else it will form lumps while grinding.
- In a blender, put all the roasted items and make fine powder or coarse powder.
- Store in a air tight container.
