A Traditionally lunch menu of south Indian is incomplete without sambar and usually sambar is prepared using a variety of vegetables . This kerai sambar is very healthy combined with toor daal and delicious.
Murungai Kerai Sambar |
Ingredients :
- Drumstick Leaves/ Murungakai Kerai - 2 cups
- Toor Daal / Thuvaram Paruppu - 1/2 cup
- Onion - 2 ( Finely Chopped )
- Tomato - 2 ( Finely Chopped )
- Green chilly - 3
For Tempering :
Method :
Murungai Kerai |
Take all the Ingredients |
Soak daal in water for Half hour |
Heat the daal in water, cook it for 20 min |
Lets boil |
Add Turmeric Powder |
Add the Ingredients |
Put the leaves in boiling daal and Stir the leaves |
Add salt and stir gently , cook for 5 - 8min |
Heat oil in pan add mustard seeds and curry leaves |
