Instant Mango Pickle Recipe :

Instant mango pickle.....

Instant Mango Pickle 
Cooking Time : 5 mins

Ingredients :

  1. Mango - 1 medium size
  2. Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
  3. Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
  4. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder - a pinch
  6. Asafoetida / Hing - 1/4 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Gingelly oil - 2 tbsp

To Grind :

  1. Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp

Method :

  1. Clean and cut the mango in small pieces.
  2. In a blender, grind the mustard seeds in a coarse powder.
  3. Heat oil in a pan for few seconds,add turmeric powder and asofoetida, give a quick mix and turn off the flame.
  4. In a mixing bowl, add the red chilly powder, fenugreek seeds and salt. mix it well
  5. Now add the hot oil to the bowl and mix it well.
  6. Add the 2 tsp of  mustard powder to the mixture and mix it well.
  7. Finally add the chopped mango amd mix well.
  8. Let it rest for overnight.
  9. Serve with curd rice.
