Idly Upma - Left over Idly recipe
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Ingredients :
- Left over Idly - 5
- Onion - 1 big finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 small finely chopped ( Optional)
- Green chilly - 1 finely chopped OR Red chilly - 1
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Few curry leaves
- Few coriander leaves
To Temper:
- Crumble the left over idlies coarsely and set aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds once its splutter add urad dal, jeera and curry leaves.
- Add chopped onions saute it till turn golden.
- Now add the green chillies ,chopped tomatoes,turmeric powder and salt. saute for 2 - 3 mins. (Tomatoes is optional).
- Then add the crumbled idlies and mix well to combine.
- Finely add the corionder leaves and switch off the flame.
- Serve hot.
