Spicy and tasty egg masala .......

Sliced Egg masala / Egg thokku recipe
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Ingredients :
- Boiled egg - 5
- Onion - 1 big
- Tomato - 2
- Green chilly - 2
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Few coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
To Temper :
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
- Few curry leaves
Method :
- Boil egg for few min .Break open and remove the shell and cut into slices.set aside.
- In a blender, add 2 tomatoes and make a puree and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds once its splutter add urad dal and curry leaves.
- Now add the chopped onions, saute it till turn brown.
- Then add the tomato puree, saute well till the raw smell goes.
- Then add the all spice powders one by one, fry for 2 mins.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and salt and cover with lid for 5 - 7 mins.
- Add the sliced eggs into the gravy and mix well.cook for another 5 mins.
- Check the salt and spice levels and the consistency of the curry.
- Adjust them to taste and add water if you want the consistency of the curry to be thinner. Once done, stir in the chopped coriander leaves and serve.
- Serve the Egg Curry along with hot steamed rice.
