Ingredients :
- Fish - 1/2 kg ( Use any kind of fish )
- Mint Leaves - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- Green chilly - 3
- Garlic cloves - 3
- Ginger - 1 small piece
- Tomato - 1 small size
- Onion - 1 medium size
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 small bunch
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste
Masala paste :
- Mint Leaves - 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
- Green chilly - 3
- Garlic cloves - 3
- Ginger - 1 small piece
- Tomato - 1 small size
- Onion - 1 medium size
- In a blender, grind everything and make a coarse paste.
- In between sprinkle some water.( Don't add water while grinding )
For coating :
- Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Adjust the spice and salt according to your taste.
Method :
- Coat the fish with red chilly power, turmeric powder and salt.mix it well
- Keep the coated fish in refrigerator for 1 hour.
- After one hour ,In a blender, grind the masala paste.
- Apply the masala paste to the coated fish.
- Rest it for 30 mins.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a kadai, put the curry leaves one by one.
- Now fry the fish on both sides until golden brown.
- If deep frying,heat enough oil in a deep skillet and fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with rice.
