Tasty capsicum chutney......

Capsicum Chutney / Bell-pepper Chutney Recipe
Cooking Time : 15 min
Ingredients :
- Capsicum - 1
- Jeera / Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Channa / kadala paruppu - 2 tbsp
- Red chilly - 2 - 3
- Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
- Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste -
- Oil - 1 tsp
To Temper :
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Few curry leaves
Method :
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, channa dal and red chilies saute it till turns light brown.
- Clean the capsicum , remove the stem and inner seed parts.
- Then add the capsicum saute till shrinks, it will take 3 - 4 mins.
- Add coconut and coriander leaves, mix it well and turn off the flame.
- Let cool down completely.
- In a blender, put all the mixer, add tamarind , salt and little water and grind into a semi fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves, let it splutter.
- Transfer the tempering to the chutney and mix it well.
- Serve with idly / dosa.
