A Tasty & Healthy Beetroot Poori.....
Ingredients :
- Wheat Flour - 2 cup
- Beetroot Juice - 1 1/2 cup
- Sooji / Rava / Semolina - 2 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as Required
Note :
- Semolina / rava will helps poori more crispy like in hotels.
- Fry the poori in high flame. Don't reduce the flame.
Method:
- Mix salt, Semolina / Rava, Beetroot juice to the flour & add water.
- Knead to make a tight dough.
- Cover with a cloth for 5 min & keep aside to rest.
- Knead the dough again & divide the dough in equal small round balls.
- Roll the ball with the roll pin to make a small poori.
- Deep fry in hot oil & press with a spoon to puff the poori.
- Serve hot.
