Masala Vada / Paruppu Vadai Recipe :

Masala vada or Paruppu vada is traditionally south Indian Recipe..It is simple and easy to make.Let's see step by step pictures.
Paruppu Vadai

Ingredients:


  1. Channa Dal - 1 cup
  2. Onion - 2 Finely chopped
  3. Green chilly - 3 Finely chopped
  4. Few curry Leaves
  5. Oil as Required

Channa Dal :


  1. Soak the channa dal for 2 to 3 hrs.
  2. Then drain the water completely and keep aside.

For Grinding:


  1. Channa dal - 1cup
  2. Fennel Seeds - 1tsp
  3. Galic Cloves - 4 pcs
  4. Ginger - 1 small pcs
  5. Salt to Taste
  6. Don't add water while grinding


Method:

Take all the Ingredients

In a blender, grind the Ingredients listed under ( For Grinding) 

Grind a coarse paste

Mix all the ingredients

Mix well

Wet your hand. Take a portion of mixture in your hand. Give it a round shape.
Heat oil in a kadai, up turn your hand and drop the vada in oil.Deep fry the vada till both sides turn golden brown in color
Paruppu vada is ready to serve.
